Where do I find the underwriter/insurer of my auto insurance policy?

This information can be found in a few places in your insurance documents:

  1. Under the “About Your Policy” page of the insurance wording
  2. In the bottom right corner of your insurance summary (declarations page)

When can I make a claim?

You can make a claim at any time of day.

  1. Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm Pacific Time, please complete our online claims form.
  2. Emergency after-hours service is available from 4:30pm to 8:30am Pacific Time and on weekends and holidays.
What information should I have ready before I make a claim?

Please have your name and Stratford policy number ready before you get in touch, as well as details about the incident, and any damage that may have occurred by your vehicle.

What information should be recorded at the scene of a collision?

Capture the name, contact information, driver’s license number, and license plate of any other motorist involved in the collision (if applicable).

If there are any witnesses, collect their names and contact information too.

It is a good idea to take photos or record a video of the scene, as that information can be helpful when assessing the claim.

When should I contact ICBC?

Report your claim to ICBC before reporting to Four Points Insurance.

What should I do in the event of an Emergency Roadside Service claim?

This coverage is on a reimbursement basis. Contact the local tow company in your area and keep the receipt. File a claim with Four Points and submit the receipt for reimbursement based on the applicable policy limits and coverages.
